AmsterdamMews, the industry-leading hospitality cloud, has recently surpassed 125,000 active users on its platform.

This milestone comes in a year that has seen continued rapid growth for the business, including reaching 12,500 customers, securing $75m in additional funding led by Tiger Global and partnering with more leading hospitality groups including Choice Hotels International.

Every day, thousands of hoteliers use Mews to run great properties. That’s the magic. We're seeing it in the numbers too – lower staff turnover, better engagement, and more time spent with guests instead of screens. That’s a win for hoteliers, a win for teams, and most importantly a win for guests who benefit from more seamless, human experiences. Matt Welle, CEO of Mews

The 125,000 hospitality staff using Mews work around the world in over 12,500 properties, which includes brands like Frame Hospitality Group, Stay Pineapple, Wythe Hotel and Terrace Bay Hotel.

As staffing shortages continue to affect hospitality, choosing a PMS that’s easy for employees to learn can have a significant business impact. Mews University provides self-guided, role-based digital training that gets staff quickly up to speed. As well as improving staff retention, this can also widen a hotel’s hiring pool, allowing brands to hire people without prior experience.

Mews is light years ahead in comparison to everything else we’ve seen. The core functionality is not only powerful but the UI and UX are very intuitive and user-friendly. Matthew Opferkuch, CEO of The Laundry Rooms

Matej Matejka, Owner of Aplend Group, added: The main thing I like about Mews is its simplicity and user-friendliness. When we train new staff on it, they understand it straight away, regardless of if they come from a hospitality background.

Mews provides core functionality for hotel staff, including reservation and rate management, guest-facing tools including a booking engine, online check-in and self-serve kiosks, point-of-sale (POS), and a fully embedded payments system.

Hedrik Renken, Head of Technology at Capsule Hotel Switzerland, said: For me, the standout feature of Mews is its exceptional user-friendly interface. Both PMS and POS are incredibly intuitive – all operations are synced with no need for manual intervention.
