Chicago - Next week at HITEC Orlando in youtip Booth 2007, attendees will have the opportunity to “Catch Cash for a Cause” with all proceeds donated to the HFTP^® Foundation (the philanthropic arm of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals that helps secure nonprofit funding for hospitality and travel industry-related research, educational projects, and scholarships). As part of its 2^nd Annual Digital Donation Drive, youtip will enable participants to catch as much money as they can in a Money Booth. Those participating will earn a raffle ticket for a chance to win fantastic prizes that will be announced at the show.

In addition to supporting this worthy cause, hoteliers joining in the 2^nd Annual Digital Donation Drive will experience the simplest, fastest, and most secure digital tipping platform. To take part in the 2022 Cash Grab, HITEC attendees can receive a “Money Booth Ticket” by doing one of three things:

1. Attend the youtip Exhibitor Tutorial 03B on Tuesday

youtip will host an Exhibitor Tutorial titled: “The Power of Tipping: Going Beyond the Money” on Tuesday, June 28 at 12:00 p.m. Stage B in the Exhibit Hall. The session will address the challenges of today’s cashless economy and explain how hoteliers can combat the labor shortage, measure satisfaction, capture feedback, improve online reviews, and set employees up for financial wellness with an end-to-end digital tipping platform. At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees will receive a Money Booth Ticket.

2. Ride the Hapi Bus and Tip the Driver via youtip

Those taking the Hapi Bus that provides complimentary service to HITEC parties and events and who tip the driver via youtip (scan-to-tip QR codes will be present on the Hapi Bus) can bring their receipts to the youtip Booth to receive a Money Booth Ticket.

Once inside the Money Booth participants will have 20 seconds to catch as much cash as they can. The dollar amount caught will be uploaded to a Visa Debit Card. Participants will immediately use the youtip digital tipping screen to donate all awarded funds from the Visa Debit Card to the HFTP Foundation. NOTE: Hand sanitizer, latex gloves, and goggles will be on hand for participants’ protection.
